Join us for Prepare Affair each fall to rake leaves and clean gutters for seniors and homeowners living with disabilities in your community. It's a great opportunity to help out and give back...and instantly make a positive, lasting impact on the lives of our neighbors in need.
No experience needed - this event is open to all ages and skillsets! Can't make it on November 21st? You and your team can pick the day you want to volunteer any day from November 15 to the end of the month.

What Is Prepare Affair?
Prepare Affair is a volunteer event that brings together more than 2,000 volunteers to help low-income, elderly and disabled homeowners prepare their homes for winter. One of the largest volunteer events in the tri-state, Prepare Affair crews will perform winter preparation activities that will make a huge difference for elderly homeowners with physical limitations.
What kinds of services are performed during Prepare Affair?
Services range from raking leaves and cleaning gutters to other small winter preparation tasks.
How do I volunteer?
Volunteering is easy! Simply register online or contact our volunteer department at (513) 351-7921. You can put together your own crew and be a crew leader, join an existing crew, or volunteer independently.
What is a Crew Leader?
One person in a large group is designated as the Crew Leader to act as a liaison between PWC and the group. Responsibilities include recruiting volunteers, attending a coordinator meeting at PWC, and communicating with the homeowners.
