Sunday, August 7th, marked the inaugural Boards & Brews event from the PWC Emerging Leaders Board.
The event kicked off with announcement of the winners of the Homebrew Competition that started in March of this year. Team Ramrod was selected as the winning team in June, and brewed their recipe with Sam Adams Head Brewer Chris Siegman. The brew was tapped on Sunday and proceeds from the sales of that beer will benefit People Working Cooperatively. Basement Brewers came in 2nd place and Kentucky Krauseners came in 3rd.
Following the beer launch, 32 teams competed in the Cornhole Tournament outside of the Sam Adams Cincinnati Taproom. 4Baggers were named the Champions of the first annual Boards & Brews tournament, with Team Drinkers with
Cornhole Problems coming in 2nd.
