Prepare Affair 2011

What Is Prepare Affair?
Prepare Affair brings together more than 3,000 volunteers to help elderly homeowners prepare their homes for winter. One of the largest one-day events in the tri-state, volunteers at Prepare Affair will perform winter preparation activities that mean the world to elderly homeowners with physical limitations. Come join the fun!
What kinds of services are performed during Prepare Affair?
Services range from raking leaves and cleaning gutters to other small winter preparation tasks.
How do I volunteer for Prepare Affair?
Registration for Prepare Affair begins in August. Volunteering is easy; just contact our volunteer department at 513.351.7921.
What is a Satellite Coordinator?
One person in a large group is designated as the Satellite Coordinator to act as liaison between PWC and the group. Responsibilities include recruiting volunteers, attending a coordinator meetings at PWC, and communicating with the homeowners. Does PWC have a Young Professionals group volunteering at Prepare Affair?
You bet! YPs who volunteer for Prepare Affair can learn new skills, network and have fun for a good cause! For more information on PWC’s YP group or to create a YP team for your organization, contact Sara Bourgeois at (513) 351-7921.
Donation Request:
We welcome a $10 donation per individual or $20 per family to cover Prepare Affair expenses. We also encourge you to donate extra to help a client on our waiting list!
