Final Hometown Hollywood was a Success!
PWC’s final Hometown Hollywood event brought in a record setting $160,000 for the Modifications for Mobility program. These funds will be used to assist our low income, elderly and disable clients!
At the “Back to Black…and White” themed event, guests enjoyed an old-world Hollywood event to remember. The event featured a red carpet welcome, themed entertainment, a three-course gourmet meal, silent and live auctions... and of course, the Academy Awards live!
Also, thanks to our generous attendees PWC was able to raise record setting funds to support a much needed house addition for a special little boy and his family. Jackson’s story was featured during this year’s paddle-raiser. Hometown Hollywood raised a record $65,000 for the modifications needed by 4 year old Jackson and his family, whose 950-square-foot home lacked the adequate space for Jackson’s medical equipment and his family. The funds will go towards a 320-square-foot addition to their home which we hope to complete this summer.
PWC would like to extend a special thank you to all who helped make this a success.
Though this year was the final Hometown Hollywood event, a new format is currently in development and will be announced soon. Stay tuned!
