Annual Events Provide Consistent Support

Throughout the year, People Working Cooperatively connects friends, neighbors, and supporters through fun, charitable events aimed at keeping the community at the center of our mission. From helping neighbors in need with hands-on yard work and home repairs at Repair Affair to our annual ToolBelt Ball gala, PWC offers a variety of ways to get involved and make a difference in other people's lives.

PWC's First Annual ToolBelt Ball - March 25th, 2017

Join PWC for our 1st Annual ToolBelt Ball
Tickets are now on sale!
Since 1998, PWC held its annual gala, Hometown Hollywood, on Oscar® Sunday.  Hometown Hollywood was the only Oscar® sanctioned event by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences in Cincinnati.  During those 19 years, PWC hosted over 7,000 guests at the event and raised nearly $2 million for low-income homeowners in our community.  This year, at our final Hometown Hollywood event, PWC had 500 attendees and netted a record-setting $160,000 for PWC’s Modifications for Mobility program!
While the curtain may be closed on Hometown Hollywood, PWC is excited to offer a re-energize annual event with a new name, theme, and format that we believe better reflects the overall mission of PWC - to help low-income homeowners remain in their homes living independently and healthier.
The 1st Annual PWC’s ToolBelt Ball will be Saturday, March 25, 2017 at JACK Cincinnati Casino.  The black-tie affair will include a cocktail reception, entertainment from the Ultra Sonics Band, and a three-course gourmet meal. Attendees can participate in raffles, a high-end wine and bourbon pull, silent and live auctions as well as plenty of fun surprises!
All proceeds from PWC’s ToolBelt Ball will continue to benefit our Modification to Mobility program. We hope that you are as excited as we are about the new event and will join us on March 25th!
