Providing Weatherization Services
PWC has been selected by the State of Indiana to receive ARRA stimulus funds to weatherize homes in Dearborn, Franklin. Ripley, Ohio and Switzerland counties. Weatherizing your home can help you save on your utility usage AND make your home cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter!
All participants receive a comprehensive inspection of their home that includes: diagnostic testing to accurately determine air leakage sites, combustion analysis to ensure the safety of gas appliances (if applicable) and a clean and tune of your propane, oil, electric, or natural gas furnace if needed.
Depending on the results of the inspection participants may receive insulation in the attic and wall/crawl spaces if needed, and other permanent energy saving measures to the home.
Currently, PWC’s weatherization program in Indiana is limited to customers who received services through Indiana’s Energy Assistance Program.
