Position Overview

Performs home roofing repairs.

Essential Job Objectives

•   Diagnose and troubleshoot in major skill areas.

•   Meet time and budget estimates.

•   Keep neat and accurate job records (all paperwork) and process it in a timely fashion.

•   Responsible for keeping own tools and equipment in good repair.

•   Follow all safety procedures.    





Position Overview

Performs home repairs in five of the major skill areas (plumbing, heating, electric, carpentry, and roofing) with proficiency in at least three.  Working on projects specifically designed for the elderly or disabled.  

Essential Job Objectives

•   Perform general residential remodeling tasks. All facets of remodeling can be expected to be performed including carpentry, tile, drywall, minor electric, minor plumbing, roofing, painting, concrete, and other construction trade skills.  

•   Understand and follow safety requirements for given tasks and tools. 

•   Meet time and budget estimates.

•   Regularly train others in major skill areas.

•   Responsible for equipment and materials assigned.

•   Complete required recordkeeping in electronic format. 

•   Responsible for keeping own tools and equipment in good repair; keeping work area clean and safe.

•   Work with customers to explain scope of project, maintenance required, warranty information.  Customers may have disabilities that make communication difficult. 

  • •    Work in collaborative environment to problem solve and successfully complete projects.  Position requires interacting with customers, building inspectors, sub-contractors and other employees. 



Position Overview

Perform home repair tasks using training in specialty trade as well as general home repair tasks as needed.

Essential Job Objectives

•   Inspects, troubleshoots, and performs electrical repairs such as new and modifying existing wiring.

•   Plan and verify work order, including materials and equipment needed for the project.

•   Train and inspect the work of any associates assigned to ensure quality; responsible for assigned equipment as assigned.

•   Maintain accurate and timely paperwork.

•   Responsible for ensuring tools are maintained and in good repair.

•   Responsible for on-site safety compliance.

Position Overview

Successful candidate will possess excellent skills in a wide variety of home repair skills, including carpentry and roofing.  2-3 years general construction and/or weatherization experience preferred. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Essential Job Objectives

•    Demonstrate an advanced knowledge of home repair concepts and techniques

•    Perform weatherization tasks to minimize heat loss and increase thermal efficiency

•    Install roof vents and perform minor roofing repairs

•    Install insulation in attic, crawlspaces and walls

•    Create/Install attic and knee wall  attic accesses

•    Drywall repair, light electrical and minor plumbing 





Position Overview

Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications of HVAC systems. Meet production goals in accordance with Weatherization Programs and all applicable manufacturer’s specifications, federal, state, and local laws as well as PWC policies.

Essential Job Objectives

•   Complete inspections of all HVAC equipment (water heaters, furnaces, dryers, stoves, any and all fuel burning applications, and electric appliances).

•   Collect all information from data plates on the equipment and any other information to complete required paperwork.

•   Use all HVAC tools including: combustion analyzer, refrigeration gauges, recovery equipment, air meters, leak detectors, manometer, multi-meter, pressure differential equipment, and troubleshooting equipment.

•    Maintain an inventory of assigned tools and equipment in good condition.

•    Complete accurate and detailed paperwork.

•    Load and unload trucks as required; maintaining truck stock to perform regular maintenance.

•    Make necessary repairs to all types of heating and cooling equipment.

•    Perform other duties as assigned.
